Advanced EUS Guided Tissue Acquisition


Participants will be instructed on the safe and effective use of Olympus EUS technology through didactic, live-case observation and hands-on education sessions. This program includes advanced EUS applications.

Agenda will include:

  • Didactic Presentation
  • Device Demonstration
  • Hands-On Educational Sessions
  • Live case observation

Upon completion of the course participants will have an understanding of:

  • The safe and effective use of Olympus EUS processors, scopes and needles
  • Indications, benefits and complications of EUS.
  • The clinical considerations and treatment for complex cases

Technologies used:

  • ALOKA ARIETTA 850 Premium Ultrasound Processor
  • Olympus EU-ME2 Premier Plus Ultrasound Processor
  • Olympus GF-UCT180-AL5 EUS Curvilinear Echoendoscope
  • Olympus TGF-UC180JEUS Forward-Viewing Ultrasound Gastrovideoscope
  • Olympus EZ Shot 3 Single-use Aspiration Needles
  • Olympus EZ Shot 3 Plus FNA Needles


  • Trained in EUS and have been practicing for 3 to 5 years
  • Performed a minimum of 500 EUS procedures
  • EUS Registration Survey must be completed before confirmation of attendee is received

Additional Information:

  • Event space is limited to 6 attendees
  • Valid License and NPI information must be included on the registration form in order to be considered for the program. Acceptance is on a first come first serve basis and is based upon fulfillment of all required prerequisite
