Urology Master Class

OVERVIEW

This course consists of didactic presentations, hands-on workshops, and live case observations using Olympus technologies in the practice of Urology.

Objectives:

Mini PCNL Access and Lithotripsy

  • Attendees will become proficient on how to drive with the scope and not the probe
  • Become knowledgeable in various techniques to achieve optimal percutaneous kidney access utilizing mini-PCNL methods vs. traditional PCNL
  • Attendees will learn about the safe and effective use of Shockpulse
  • Become knowledgeable in the single-use devices necessary during procedures
  • Learn about the safe and effective use of the nephroscope

SOLTIVE™ SuperPulsed Pro & Premium Lasers

  • Become knowledgeable in the use of laser lithotripsy technology with the SOLTIVE laser platform
  • Learn techniques for lithotripsy utilizing various settings and their effects of renal calculi including fine dusting, dusting, fragmentation and popcorning
  • Discover the capabilities of a unique range of energy settings not available in traditional Holmium YAG platforms
  • Attendees will learn about the safe and effective use of the flexible or semi-rigid ureteroscopes while lasering
  • Attendees will learn about the safe and effective use of the single-use devices involved in ureteroscopy with lithotripsy
