Compared to the PCF-H190L/I, this ultra-slim scope diameter facilitates easier insertion during difficult cases such as where there are strictures of the colon. 
 
Initial feedback from physicians using the PCF-H190TL/I has indicated the possibility for an increase in polyp detection when the scope is used to retroflex for visualization of the proximal side of colon folds (behind folds) and around flexures.
 
With a 210 degree angulation range, the retroflexion capabilities are improved and may allow the user to more easily position the scope for improved access to hidden polyps and allow for a more complete resection of polyps. 
 
PCF-H190TL/I is a slim colonoscope with a short turn radius bending section that may lead to fewer incomplete colonoscopies by easily navigating around the sharp turns and tight areas of a difficult colon. 
 
The close position between the instrument channel outlet and the auxiliary water channel allows for the option to apply water to the treatment area without moving the bending section.
